This award-winning project comprised three buildings: the 66,000sf sheriff’s department, 6,500sf emergency telephone system board and the 12,500sf Laraway Communications Center. The complex includes a new 911 dispatch center and enclosed sally port, shared public and staff training rooms, evidence processing with property storage and vehicle processing, as well as multipurpose meeting spaces and locker rooms. Work included mass grading, utility work, bioswales, native planting and hardscaping. The building won Project of the Year award from the American Public Works Association.
