This design-build project included site improvements of new handicap-accessible ramps/sidewalks/curbs/entrances and the installation of security fencing and operable gates. The repair and restoration of the entrance included replacement of damaged bricks, tuck-pointing the existing masonry, repair of the existing soffit and installation of new soffit lighting beneath building overhang.
The project also included exterior painting of the existing soffit, repair of the exterior structural columns and refinishing similar to the north-side commissary structural columns at Building 3451, construction of new vending machine and DVD rental machine enclosure, canopy roof drain repair, and electrical lighting and light controls replacement and upgrades.
