We worked in three phases to provide design-build services for the painting of the existing exterior steel of Chicago’s historic Loop Post Office. Accel worked closely with the architect, GSA historical preservation team, and specified manufacturers to develop a paint system that performed both functionally and aesthetically to restore the façade of this historic structure. This project was the recipient of the 2021 Modernism in America Award of Excellence for its preservation efforts.
