We built this permanent, fully enclosed warming house to replace Metra's temporary passenger waiting area at the Prairie Crossing stop in Libertyville, Illinois. The 480 square-foot masonry structure is equipped with a heating system and interior/exterior lighting and features decorative stonework and wooden truss ceiling. The project also included new sidewalk connections, train platform, signage, landscaping, benches and a pay machine shelter.
