CPS Leland was a two-year mechanical renovation, notably removing two old boilers, associated duct and piping and installing two new boilers with VFD’s. We also added a new 240-ton Air-Cooled Screw Chiller and converted the building to all dual temp piping for the 30+ new UV’s. A new transformer for the chiller was required which was not in the original scope. A new generator was also installed, four new air-handling units, fans, VFD’s, REF and EF units throughout, upgraded electrical panels and lighting throughout, new classroom millwork, new plumbing, and fixtures in the bathrooms, and much more.
